Curcumin induces cell apoptosis in human chondrosarcoma through extrinsic death receptor pathway.

軟骨肉瘤是一種軟組織肉瘤，對預後不良，對常規化療無反應。手術治療導致嚴重殘疾，局部復發率和生命威脅率很高。發現薑黃素誘導人軟骨肉瘤細胞系（JJ012和SW1353）的凋亡。薑黃素誘導軟骨肉瘤細胞中Fas，FasL和DR5表達的上調。最重要的是，動物研究顯示治療21天后腫瘤體積顯著減少60％。薑黃素可能是一種治療軟骨肉瘤的新型抗癌藥物。
